1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of primalwellness.ca and your engagement with Primal Wellness services. By booking a session, subscribing to communications, or using this website, you agree to these terms in full.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or book services.

Primal Wellness is operated by Primal Global Consulting S.A., incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Panama. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.

2. Services Offered

Primal Wellness offers the following services:

  • Private yin yoga sessions (in-person in Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama and online via Zoom)
  • Private breathwork sessions (in-person and online)
  • Small group online drop-in sessions (maximum 6 participants)
  • Session packages and programs (6-Week Reset)
  • Online monthly membership
  • Corporate wellness half-day sessions (in-person and virtual)
  • Group yin yoga classes at The Haven, Bajo Boquete (booked directly through The Haven)

All sessions are facilitated by Scott Steele, RYT500 registered yoga teacher and Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator.

3. Eligibility

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are not currently experiencing a medical emergency
  • You have disclosed any relevant physical conditions, injuries, or limitations in your pre-session intake form
  • You understand that yin yoga and breathwork are wellness practices and not medical treatment
  • You have consulted a qualified medical professional if you have any concerns about whether these practices are appropriate for your health condition

Primal Wellness reserves the right to decline or discontinue services to any individual at its discretion.

4. Health Disclaimer

Yin yoga and breathwork are wellness practices intended to support physical and mental wellbeing. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

By booking a session, you acknowledge:

  • You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk
  • You have disclosed all relevant health information in your intake form, including injuries, chronic conditions, recent surgeries, cardiovascular conditions, pregnancy, and mental health history
  • You will inform Scott Steele of any changes to your health status before each session
  • Certain breathwork techniques can produce strong physical or emotional responses. You will discontinue any technique if it causes discomfort and communicate this immediately
  • Primal Wellness is not liable for injury, illness, or adverse reactions arising from participation in sessions where relevant health information was not disclosed

If you have a serious medical condition, please consult your physician before booking.

5. Booking and Payment

5.1 How Booking Works

All sessions are booked through Acuity Scheduling at primalglobalconsulting.as.me. Payment is processed at the time of booking through Stripe. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is complete.

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after booking. This email contains your session details, any applicable Zoom link, and your pre-session intake form (for intake sessions and first private sessions).

5.2 Prices

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD).

Prices are subject to change. The price displayed at the time of booking applies.

5.3 Intake Requirement

All ongoing private session work requires a completed intake session first. This applies to both in-person and online private sessions. The intake allows us to understand your current state, relevant history, and goals before beginning regular work together.

5.4 Packages and Programs

The 6-Week Reset is sold as a package of 6 sessions paid in full at purchase. Sessions must be used within 8 weeks of purchase. Individual sessions within a package are scheduled directly after purchase.

The Online Monthly Membership is a recurring subscription billed monthly. It includes 2 group drop-in sessions and 1 monthly check-in session per billing period. Unused sessions do not roll over to the following month.

5.5 Corporate Sessions

Corporate sessions are booked by enquiry only (not through the online booking system). A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date. The balance is due 7 days before the session date.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.2 Group Drop-In Sessions

Group session spots cannot be resold on short notice. This policy is firm.

6.3 Packages and Programs (6-Week Reset)

Packages are non-refundable after purchase. Individual sessions within a package may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Package expiry extensions (beyond the 8-week window) are considered case-by-case for documented medical emergencies only.

6.4 Monthly Membership

The monthly membership may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date. Once a billing period has been charged, that period is non-refundable. Unused sessions within a billing period do not carry over.

To cancel, email wellness@primalwellness.ca at least 48 hours before your next billing date.

6.5 Corporate Sessions

Cancellation within 72 hours of the session date: no refund on any amount paid. Cancellation before 72 hours: the 50% deposit is non-refundable, but the balance payment is not charged.

6.6 Cancellation by Primal Wellness

In the event that Primal Wellness cancels a session (due to illness, emergency, or circumstances outside our control), you will be offered a full refund or a reschedule at no cost to you. We will provide as much notice as possible.

7. Online Sessions

7.1 Technical Requirements

For online sessions you are responsible for:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A device with a working camera and microphone
  • A quiet, private space where you can practice without interruption
  • A yoga mat and enough room to extend your arms in all directions
  • Completion of any pre-session protocol sent with your booking confirmation

Primal Wellness is not responsible for session quality issues caused by your internet connection or technical setup.

7.2 Session Recordings

Online private sessions and breathwork intensives include a recording sent to you within 24 hours. Recordings are for your personal use only. You may not share, publish, redistribute, or use recordings for commercial purposes.

Recordings are sent via a secure link and are available for a limited period. Download your recording promptly.

7.3 Drop-In Group Sessions

Group drop-in sessions have a strict maximum of 6 participants. Your spot is held by payment only. The session will proceed with however many participants have booked, including as few as one.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on primalwellness.ca, including text, images, design, session materials, and recordings, is the property of Primal Global Consulting S.A. or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without written permission.

Session recordings provided to you are for your personal use only.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Primal Wellness and Primal Global Consulting S.A. shall not be liable for:

  • Any injury, illness, or adverse physical or psychological reaction arising from participation in sessions, where you have provided full and accurate health information
  • Any loss or damage arising from technical failures in online session delivery
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services
  • Any actions taken by third-party service providers (Acuity, Stripe, Zoom)

Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific booking.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Conduct

You agree to:

  • Treat Scott Steele and any other session participants with respect
  • Not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational substances
  • Disclose relevant health information honestly and completely
  • Follow reasonable instructions given during sessions for your safety
  • Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent

We reserve the right to end a session immediately and without refund if these conduct standards are not met.

11. Privacy

Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Third-Party Services

Our booking, payment, and session delivery involves third-party platforms including Acuity Scheduling, Stripe, and Zoom. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective terms of service. Primal Wellness is not responsible for the operation or policies of those platforms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Primal Wellness services will first be addressed through good-faith communication. Contact us at wellness@primalwellness.ca and we will work to resolve the matter directly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Panama.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For material changes, we will notify active clients by email where possible.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
